The seven mysteries are:
The Betrothal to Mary
The Annunciation to Joseph
The Nativity of Our Lord Jesus
The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple
The Flight of the Holy Family into Egypt
The Finding of Jesus in the Temple
The Death of St. Joseph
How to Pray the Chaplet of St. Joseph
Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to praying this chaplet:
Begin with the Sign of the Cross and recite the introductory prayers: Apostles’ Creed, an Our Father, a Hail Mary, and a Glory Be.
Announce the mystery and pray:“St. Joseph, spiritual father of the faithful, intercede for us.”
Pray seven times:“St. Joseph, chaste spouse of Mary and guardian of the Sacred Heart, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”
Conclude each mystery with:“Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I surrender my heart completely to thee!”
After meditating on all seven mysteries, pray three times:“St. Joseph, patron of the universal Church, pray for us. May we live totally devoted to the Sacred and Immaculate Hearts of Jesus and Mary.”
